Last Sunday, Sept 4th, we went to the Autumn Fair trade show at the NEC in Birmingham to meet with existing suppliers and also to find new suppliers.
DR Harris
It was good to catch up with Andrew from DR Harris and to find out more about how their new Twenty Nine collection was being received. The Twenty Nine range was named after their store 29 St James Street which was fully refitted earlier this year.
Danielle Creations
We also caught up with Angela from Danielle Creations and had a chat about their Damsel in D-Stress Travel Kits.
These tiny little kits are what every girl needs for life’s little emergencies! These kits have over 24 items and they are so small measuring just 85 x 105 x 50mm so it can fit in a small handbag. We also talked about how well their mirrors sell for us, especially the hand held folding travel mirrors in a range of colours.
PaddyWax
We placed our first order with PaddyWax who are a company from Nashville Tennessee that produce hand-poured, fragrance-infused, soy wax blended candles.
We decided to trial their new Woods
collection, a selection of fragranced candles in handmade wooden vessels with a copper interior and wooden lid.
We also decided to trail their Urban collection which is a selection of fragranced candles in city-inspired concrete vessels. We are expecting delivery of these at the start of October.
So over the next few weeks all our new products should be arriving and will be appearing on the website.
