The cost of a traditional double-edge safety razor can vary but start at around £22, but the cost of blades is at least half the price of the Mach 3, so the savings soon add up.
Reduce environmental impact
Traditional wet shaving produces less waste that using a cartridge razor and the only waste is a single metal blade. Also if you use a traditional shaving soap or shaving cream then these are a natural product and not sold in an aerosol can.
Better, more consistent shave
Electric razors and multi
-blade cartridge razors irritate the skin more than needed, leaving razor burn, ingrown hairs and redness. Using a safety razor will all but eliminate the skin irritation and give you a comfortable shave as you are using just 1 blade instead of several.
Also to help reduce irritation and razor burn use a traditional good quality shaving soap or cream that allows the razor to glide across the skin without pulling and tugging at the hair.
