What to look for when choosing a cream
1 – Your skin type
If you have sensitive skin look for a cream that is produced for sensitive skin
If you have dry skin, then it is recommended that you look for a cream that has a glycerine base. This will allow the blade to glide over the skin easier.
2 – Ingredients to look out for
These are a preservative added to you shaving cream to stop the growth of fungus and bacteria
Parabens applied to the skin may react to ultraviolet radiation and increase DNA damage and skin aging.
There are many reports looking at whether Parabens are carcinogenic, but there has been no causal link found.
This is a synthetic detergent. They are used to aid in the production of froth. They remove oils from the skin and can cause eye and skin irritation.
If you have sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis then it is advisable to avoid them.
Look out for these good ingredients. Added natural oils such as jojoba are good for your face as they are not oily.
Added glycerine will help the blade glide over the skin helping to reduce irritation

This is one of the bestselling traditional shaving creams in the UK. It produces a rich and creamy lathe and can be used with or without a shaving brush. It also leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised. It is good value for money with a 150g pot lasting an average 4-5 months.
Sold in a tub with screw lid making it easy to use.
