Ok, so that title may be a little exaggerated but it’s no coincidence that my relationship improved when I started using good quality beard oil regularly. Allow me to explain that a little better:
I’ve never been the kind of person to fill a cabinet with creams and potions. Sure, I care about how I look, to an extent but I’m too busy (read lazy) to bother with any kind of routine to maintain my charming good looks (o.k. my fairly average but easy to maintain looks). I just don’t care enough to even bother with moisturiser or any of the other items that seem to accumulate on my girlfriend’s side of the bathroom designed to keep her looking youthful.
So when I was asked to try out a beard oil from The Groomed Man I assumed it would be like anything else of that nature. I expected to try it, tell them what I thought, leave it on my shelf to collect dust for a while before I threw it away during my next thorough clear-out.
I was wrong! This beard oil is amazing! I’ve tried cheap bear oils in the past and found they just left my face and hands feeling greasy. This oil softened my beard without any of the greasiness I expected.
I trim my beard fairly regularly and normally find that on the first day or two after trimming it becomes prickly and I spend a lot of time fiddling with it. Now, I find myself reaching for this oil and forgetting that it ever bothered me.
It smells great, makes my beard softer, feels nice (not greasy) and it’s something I want to use not something that feels like a chore but above all else the biggest reason I would recommend this product is…
